Azure Integration Platform

Pluxee UK, a leading employee benefits and engagment partner, required to deploy the Azure Integration platform set of components and services to the cloud environment and use the newly deployed Azure resources and services as a base for integration of the UK on-premise and currently used cloud based applications and databases with the cloud environment and develop new MDM solution on top of the new Integration platform.

The Integration platform had to be built under the definitions of Pluxee Golden Rules and AZRQ. The Client required a solution that could be deployed through CI/CD pipelines with source codes in Azure DevOps Repositories. All infrastructure components were to be deployed using Bicep Templates, with specific AZRQ definitions for Azure DevOps Management. To fulfil these requirements, Pluxee brought on Unicorn, an IT services vendor with a proven track record of success.

Unicorn's project team worked closely with Pluxee to build cloud environments for DEV, UAT, and PRD, implementing Azure Logic application, Azure Function application, Datafactory with Self-hosted runtime integration, Cosmos DB with Mongo API, set of Azure SQL databases with elastic scaling, Azure App service, Application Gateway with WAF, and Storage account for binary data management. The team configured CI/CD pipelines, automating the process of deploying the application to each environment and to build the environment with IaC principles.

Throughout the project, Unicorn's team maintained good cooperation with Pluxee's project team, ensuring that any issues were resolved quickly and effectively. The team provided hyper-care and consultation support for UK cloud engineers and developers, going above and beyond the original scope to assist Pluxee's local team with testing and application deployment.

The implementation of the Azure environments and application move to cloud brought significant benefits to Pluxee UK, which in turn led to an increase in revenue and customer satisfaction.
