MS Azure Enterprise Landing Zone & Entra ID
Starting Point
We delivered a complete design and implementation of the Enterprise Landing Zone for the ELI Laser tenant, which forms the core architectural framework for the future operation of applications in Azure.
At the same time, we implemented Entra ID (Azure AD) as the central identity and access management layer for both ELI Azure tenants.

Our Solution
Enterprise Landing Zone
The ELZ was designed according to the practices of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and covers governance, security, identity, networking, compliance, and operational standards.
- creation of a secure, scalable, and standardized cloud environment
- centralized resource management, a unified governance model, and clearly defined responsibilities
- automated infrastructure using Terraform (IaC), ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments
- readiness for integration with M365 services, DevOps tools, and monitoring systems
- a platform prepared for application onboarding, including future multi-tenant expansion
The Enterprise Landing Zone was successfully handed over to operations and has become the cornerstone of the entire ELI cloud architecture.
Entra ID Implementation
The delivery also included integration with on-premise Active Directory, implementation of security policies, and establishment of governance across the entire identity ecosystem.

- implementation of MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust security standards
- configuration of roles, groups, and permissions for administration and operations
- support for multi-tenant scenarios and readiness for the future onboarding of the ELI ALPS organization

Entra ID has been fully deployed to production and currently serves as the foundation for access management for all current and future services.
