We care about our co-workers’ development and career growth. At Unicorn, clearly defined career paths show the many ways to reach the top. Along the journey, every co-worker has the opportunity to explore different roles – whether in analysis, testing, development, project management, product development, or other areas.

Godfathers

Each co-worker at Unicorn is assigned a mentor, whom we call a ‘godfather.’ Together, they set development goals and shape career paths. Each career stage comes with different expectations – and a godfather can help both a recent graduate as an experienced mentor and a senior specialist as an expert consultant. In this way, godfathers become long-term career guides for all our co-workers.

That’s why we founded Unicorn University in 2007, which also runs the Unicorn Top Gun Academy – a comprehensive education system for our co-workers. Our ambition is to support online education at all levels, from elementary schools to universities, including lifelong learning programs. We collaborate with secondary schools, colleges, and universities, offering students and graduates unique opportunities to combine their academic knowledge with practical experience and kickstart their careers in IT.

Unicorn Top Gun Academy

Unicorn Top Gun Academy provides systematic training for all Unicorn co-workers and helps develop the best IT specialists. Our academy offers a wide range of courses, including:

Cooperation with Students

We know that combining theory with practice is important even during studies, which is why we cooperate with a number of secondary schools and universities. We offer students internships, professional work experience, and guidance on their bachelor’s or master’s theses. We are proud of our co-workers who teach at these institutions, passing on the know-how they have gained at Unicorn to future generations of skilled IT specialists.
