Statement on the ongoing disputes in the Mamut case

April 21, 2026 | Reading time: 3 min

In connection with the current developments in the Mamut case, we consider it necessary to state the following.

Recently, the Unicorn group of companies has been exposed to increasing pressure from the J&T group, both in legal, insolvency and media terms. This pressure is exerted through repeated lawsuits, attempts to influence insolvency events, and targeted work in the media space.

The Unicorn group of companies strictly filed contractual claims against J&T Leasing, was never a party to any of the transactions from Mammoth, and did not order, collect or receive any goods related to the Mamut case. The association of Unicorn with the Mamut business model by J&T Leasing is artificial and clearly serves to drag a well-known brand into the case and generate media pressure where there is no factual or legal basis.

Therefore, we do not attach more importance to the steps taken by J&T Leasing than they actually are, and on the contrary, we welcome the ongoing legal proceedings. They have the space in which we can present evidence and connections that will lead to clarification of the course of the entire case and the responsibility of specific individuals. It is significant that after three years of the entire case, J&T Leasingani has not proven the delivery of the goods itself, from which it derives the occurrence of its damages.

Regarding the lawsuit filed by the insolvency administrator, we only add that it does not change the substance of the matter. It represents another contribution to an increasingly extensive volume of filings that lack any real basis and whose sole purpose is to exert pressure on the Unicorn group of companies.

Our position in this regard and our priority remain the protection of the Unicorn Group's reputation. We will therefore continue to consistently defend ourselves against false or coercive claims by all available legal means. It is increasingly clear from the work of the J&T Group to date that its goal is not to fully clarify the entire case, but to cover up its own mistakes. However, the public, our clients, deserve to know the facts, not to create an image and a purposeful media campaign. We are convinced that it is the facts and evidence that will ultimately reveal the course of the entire case, and above all, the real role of the entities that are currently trying to divert attention elsewhere.
