Statement of ČEZ ICT Services

Our Solution
Project’s Goals:
- Implementation of a unified repository for electrical station documentation with efficient backup.
- Creation of a single access point to the repository of electrical station documentation.
- Replacement of communication via emails and SharePoint by introducing a unified system for uploading and issuing electrical station documents.
- Implementation of a workflow for processing issuance and retrieval requests related to electrical station documentation.
- Forwarding relevant information to SAP and notification of ČEZ Distribuce, a. s. employees.
- Processing of large files using the functionality of the ČEZ Group Geoportal.
Necessary modifications of ČEZ systems. To achieve the set goals, it was necessary to make adjustments and introduce new functionalities to the ČEZ Group Geoportal and the DPOINT information system within the project.
In particular:
- Creation of a new PD module within the ČEZ Group Geoportal, which will serve as a single point of access to the repository of design documentation for HV/LV structures and VHV line structures (PD) and design and operational documentation for VHV/LV electrical stations (SDES) for designers and surveyors of investment projects of ČEZ Distribuce, a. s.
- Creation of a new PD module on the client side of the DPOINT system.
- Creation of a Windows OS add-on for data output and communication with the DPOINT client.
- Implementation of new web services for communication between DPOINT and SAP systems.
- Expansion of the CBL (Control Business Logic) functionality in the DPOINT system with new workflows, views, and tables supporting newly introduced processes for processing electrical station documentation.
Project’s schedule
The project was implemented by the Unicorn Systems HSI team in cooperation with representatives of ČEZ ICT Services, a. s., and ČEZ Distribuce, a. s. – according to the framework schedule:
- Project launch: September 2024
- Acceptance of the Target Concept: January 2025
- Deployment into productive operation: August 2025
After successful deployment, Unicorn Systems HSI, s. r. o. provides standard support for productive operations.
