Statement of ŠKODA AUTO Representative
"Although ROSS was never an easy project, we would like to thank you for the long-term, stable, and high-quality cooperation in the development of ROSS. The original aims of the project were fulfilled and the functionalities of DIS-WEB, COMPASK and RUFAK were replaced by a single system that added an even ,number of new functionalities, such as the issuance of proforma and commercial invoices and others. We appreciate the effort to fulfil the requirements in the shortest possible time while maintaining the expected quality."

Our Solution
ROSS offered a modern user environment that saves the user’s time and prevented the frequent errors that had occurred. Also, it allowed the support of production in the newly built foreign factories and streamlined the course of current business processes. It is the first complex sales system that merges all sales processes from scheduling a launch of car production to its expedition and invoicing. The most significant benefits of the system are:
- Streamlining the work of sales regions, treasury, and controlling
- System support of the next business model
- Prevention of errors
- Automated generation of notifications for relevant persons
- Support of cooperation among departments
- Administration processes parameterisation
The original systems were gradually replaced between 2018 and 2020, and their agendas were implemented into the different modules of ROSS. This merger greatly simplified the work of users in different departments. Not only it saves time and prevents certain errors, but also generates tasks and notifications, both automatically and manually, that improve the cooperation among users. ROSS contains the following modules (as of mid-2020):
- Order management - search of orders (cars) and group activities run
- ES/VKH - management of discount numbers
- Business processes configuration - management of waiting lists and controlling charts
- Credit Online - financial management for business partners
- RUFAK - module allowing issuance of (group) correction documents
- Commercial invoices - a module allowing the issuance of different types of commercial invoices
The development of the systems is managed in an agile method according to the SCRUM methodology with great emphasis on the flexibility of tasks management, quality of provided solution, and satisfaction of the key users. The approach of the project team is praised by an agile coach and presented as an example of agile development at ŠKODA AUTO.
