What about data Residency in Cloud?

Within Atlassian Cloud, you have the option to set up Data Residency in all plans (Enterprise, Premium and Standard). Data Residency gives you control over where your data resides. It allows you to choose whether it is distributed globally or stored in a specific geographic location, such as Europe, the US or Australia. The list of locations will expand in the future.

Is it possible to try Atlassian Cloud before migration?

Yes, it is. One option is to try a Free plan for Atlassian Cloud for a basic test of the differences between datacentre and cloud instances.

Atlassian also offers most customers planning to migrate to the Cloud a discounted package of Datacenter and Cloud licenses for up to 6 months, known as dual licensing, where only cloud licenses are paid for and datacenter licenses are free during the migration period. We would be happy to discuss this option with you in a personal meeting, where we will check whether your migration meets the few conditions required.

Yes, it is. Whether it is a Free plan or a paid plan, there is an option to try plug-ins from the Atlassian marketplace for 30 days free of charge, and then they need to be purchased.
