ITSM Request Management

Solutions built on Atlassian products enable efficient management of service requests – from creation to resolution. With a clear catalog, categorization, prioritization, and automated workflows, you achieve faster response times from support teams and higher quality of delivered services.

Request Fulfilment as a Key Part of the Organization

Request Fulfilment is an integral part of every modern company and often serves as the primary point of contact between employees and support teams. With deep knowledge of Atlassian tools and ITSM processes, we deliver solutions that address the needs of different user groups — enabling service teams to respond faster and resolve requests with the highest possible quality.

Service Request Lifecycle

This process is responsible for managing the lifecycle of all service requests and ensuring their resolution within a defined timeframe. A service request represents a user’s demand for access to IT services — such as a new version of a software program or access to an online portal. These requests are generally low-risk and therefore require minimal approval steps. In some cases, they are even pre-approved, for example, access to a shared printer or upgrading a laptop to the latest version of an approved software package.

Standardization of Service Requests

Many service requests are repetitive, and to achieve maximum efficiency, a repeatable procedure and a standardized set of processes should be defined for fulfilling them. Service requests are managed by the service desk, which monitors requests, communicates with customers, escalates potential issues, and ensures their resolution.

How the Request Fulfilment Process Works

The change management process consists of several consecutive steps that ensure transparency, control, and a smooth flow of each change within the IT environment.

Identification

The process begins with identifying a need or issue that requires creating a service request.

Submission

A user or employee submits the request through the system, for example using Jira Service Management.

Assignment

The request is assigned to the responsible resolver or team, who ensures its processing.

Categorization and Prioritization

The request is placed into the correct category and assigned a priority based on urgency and impact.

Pending Approval

If necessary, the system moves to a pending state until the required information or approval is provided.

Resolution

The resolving team works on fulfilling the request, communicates with the user, and continuously updates progress in the system.

Completion

The request is completed, tested, and the user is informed about its successful resolution.

Closure

The process ends with the formal closure of the request. All related information is archived for future analysis and process improvement.
